Choosing between three storage options

What a month actually costs
The table above is unit pricing. This is what it works out to for one month.

Almost the entire gap is outbound traffic. If your download volume is low the gap shrinks to very little, and we'll say so.

This is our labour. Cloud usage is separate, charged at Cloudflare's public rates and paid by you directly to them.

It starts with the architecture review, and that fee is credited against the deployment. Accounts and keys are created in your name, not ours.

Common questions
Who do we pay for the cloud usage?
Cloudflare directly, on an account in your name. What we charge for is the selection and deployment work. The two are separate.
Does the data have to sit overseas?
If it has to stay in-country, a local telco cloud or an on-premise NAS works. Our selection is neutral — we model all three for you.
Can the bill suddenly spike?
R2 doesn't charge for outbound traffic, which removes the biggest variable. We also set spend caps and usage alerts before handover.
Can we take it over ourselves later, or switch providers?
Yes. R2 uses an S3-compatible API, so data and configuration are portable. We'll help with the move if you want.
Can we maintain it ourselves after deployment?
Handover includes a configuration guide covering what was changed and why. Ongoing help from us is a separate conversation.
